I recommend
I loved it at Ariston. I loved the convenience of the metro. It's literally across the street!! And the metro center was only two stops away. The front desk was super helpful and their free breakfast was awesome. I'd definitely come back!

Friendly staff, location convenient for rail
The staff are welcoming and obliging. All the basic amenities are provided. Breakfast is reasonable enough. Rooms could be cleaner. Maintenance generally seems to be lagging behind the optimum. Not a good neighbourhood after dark. Beware the man offering to give directions in the subway station nearby. He will direct you to some awkward stairs so that he and another can pick your pockets. We chose the hotel so we could walk to the station for our train to Thessaloniki. It is a short and simple walk. I would not choose this hotel if I needed to stay more than 1 night. I would prefer to pay a little more and go a little upmarket. No complaints. This hotel delivers everything that it offers.
