Stylish hotel with free WiFi, minutes from S-Bahn

Marienplatz: 21 minutes

Motel One München-Deutsches Museum offers a stylish stay that’s an easy, 21-minute stroll east of Marienplatz, the city’s bustling central square. Guests like the visitor-friendly location, steps from neighborhood restaurants and an 8-minute walk from Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn.

Coffee at Gärtnerplatz

A 13-minute stroll brings you to the Deutsches Museum, which houses 50 exhibition areas and a restaurant along the banks of Isar River. From there, it’s 10 minutes on foot to Gärtnerplatz, a charming public square that’s home to hip cafés and a regal, 19th-century opera house.

Chic, spacious lounge

Flat-screen TV, luxe beds

Up-to-date guestrooms feature fresh, aqua-on-white color schemes, with premium mattresses and fine sheets of Egyptian cotton. Rainfall showerheads, flat-screen TVs, and free WiFi are among the standouts in all guestrooms, and select accommodations have great views of Munich.

Motel One München-Deutsches Museum, Munich
Excellent location, room and lounge condition, cleanliness and staff service. Great value for a 10-15 min walk to Marienplatz. The hotel provided an infant crib and received an infant car seat that I ordered online a couple of days before our arrival.

Very rude welcoming.
Receptionist was very rude. I tried to discribe something, he didn’t understand me and started to talk very loudly. Then I wanted him to call his manager and my problem solved. The manager was very polite. Thanks to him.

Tiny room, few amenities, good location.
Pro: Great location, comfortable bed, very quiet. Con: Tiny room with no minibar, closet, nightstands, or safe. Was first put in a room on the back side. Asked to change to the front. Also, price was more than double one day due to a business convention at the nearby convention center. Be careful of that.

Great place to stay in Munich
My husband and I only stayed here one night but we had a fantastic experience. The hotel is pretty cheap and even if it's not central to the city itself we really enjoyed our short walk to and from the center of town. There is a really nice small park area right in front of the hotel leading to the city that you can take. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that there were really pressuring us to leave our room as soon as possible. We did leave right before Oktoberfest so maybe they needed the room. Either way I would really recommend anyone to stay here.
