Excellent location, close and convenient access to major tourist attractions( less than 20 yuan by taxi). A little over a mile away from Taiguli shopping center. Connected to a mall and a Starbucks is just outside of hotel lobby. Variety of choices of local and western restaurants within short walking distance. Bakeries and convenient stores are available as well. Breakfast was awesome. Washer&dryer worked great with free detergent. Friendly and helpful staffs including front desk, restaurant, house keeping, and gym. Thank you all for the wonderful hospitality!

Great Family Location In Chengdu
The Intercontinental Residences is a perfect fit for families with children for either long or short stays. Great indoor pool. Well located but with limited subway access. Great breakfast buffet. Cooking facilities and all utensils in every apartment. Washer and dryer. Even a small dishwasher. Surprisingly no microwave.

Fraser Suites Chengdu Rocks!
The entire staff was amazing! From the front desk, the concierges, to management (Gabriel!), the buffet staff, etc., all made each member of my family feel so welcomed and special. The breakfast buffet was also amazing as advertised. As non Mandarin speakers, the staff sent us on our way each morning with impeccable instructions to our drivers. Gabriel and staff even helped us fill out the necessary government form needed to visit our daughter’s orphanage in Chengdu! The luxurious accommodations, and the attention paid to details, rivaled the staff’s professionalism.

We have stayed at "FRASIER SUITES" for several years now because I like the location and also the rooms. I liked the new lobby and the size of our suite was perfect for our family. I wish someone would have communicated that the entire hotel name was changing while we were there. A bit confusing but no one explained what was happening. Things I didn't like: the sauna and steam room were always turned off when I went there to relax so I had to wait in a cold sauna for it to heat up. Also, our suite only had chopsticks in the kitchen even though there was a list of all the supplies that should have been in the kitchen such as plates, bowls, forks, spoons etc. I requested some from the front desk on our 3rd day but on day 8 when we left there still was nothing. Not very convenient when you have no way to stir your coffee or eat some food etc.....and while there were cooking utensils to make food, what would we eat it on or with? The list posted in the kitchen also warned customers that we would be charged for items that were missing when we left. :(

I think this hotel’s location is the best if you like hotpots and spicy food. There’s at least 4 good hotpot places within one and a half a block distance. A neutral/good location for getting to night lives because Chengdu have good bar locations all over the place. Easy to get a taxi here just stand across the street and waive your hand The hotel staff can speak English when needed. If anything I feel Chengdu as a city is a bit over marketed in terms of an attractive vacation spot especially for westerners because there are hardly any in this city, so expect the authentic Chinese culture here good or bad.
