Fair 4.0
No WiFi in room!
Our room did not have WiFi! This was frustrating because 1) the hotels.com page made it seem like it would, and 2) we had come from out of the country for an academic conference nearby. To be fair, the room did receive WiFi... in the bathtub. Any work or personal matters that we had to attend to had to be done in the lobby where there weren't any tables to work on. We had approached the front desk twice in our first two days about this issue. Each time, the receptionist on duty said someone would look into it. Ultimately, nothing was done. We figured that the problem was not faulty equipment, but that the hotel simply did not have a router to reach our block, so we stopped trying. I wrote an email to the hotel complaining about this, but was ignored. Even though everything else was splendid, the internet and the way the hotel handled the issue has left a bad taste in my mouth. Thus, the negative overall review. I'd be careful about booking here if you are going to be in the area for business. Book only if you're okay with not having WiFi in your room.

Exceptional 10.0
I arrived late at night after an international flight. I had contacted the hotel to let them of my late arrival and I was expected and greeted warmly. The hotel was very comfortable and located close to the historic area of the city, so it was easy to get around. Very enjoyable!

Simple and Nice
Simple and straight forward check in/ out, breakfast available with my reservation type, convenient location, very affordable prices for a hotel with my own room and shared bathroom in the hallway, and I don’t mind the walk up of stairs with my luggage, will come back again! :)

Exceptional 10.0
Great to enjoy the downtown entertainment district
The upgraded suite with the private bathroom is easily a $300 room due to size and location downtown in a major metropolitan area such as Montreal. Several adult entertainment businesses might scare off families but for couples, and other adults it’s an outstanding property

Good 6.0
Wi-Fi needs improvement
Wi-Fi has a very weak signal. Had 3rd floor room walk up not issue for me but for handicapped and elderly. A bit noise my window was on st. Catherine st and hallway was noise. Clean and newly renovated room though.
