Very convenient to Air Canada Centre
We stayed here the night of the Who concert at Air Canada Centre, which is only a stone's throw from the hotel. The room was very modern looking and clean, and the staff very professional and helpful.

More than pleased...
We came for the David Gilmour concert (Friday) and Wings/Leafs Game (Saturday), both were at the Air Canada Center. We knew that the hotel would be close, but had no idea that it was that close. The hotel itself is modern, and aesthetically pleasing (bonus for a full grocery and lcbo on the lower level). The room was very nice and comfortable. We especially enjoyed that our window opened, allowing fresh air and the noises of the city to filter in. We loved staying at the Le Germain Maple Leaf and look forward to returning to it.

Home away from home
Came to Toronto to see David gilmour it was great being walking distance away from the event motel parked our car so we did not half to worry about parking car or driving around the city. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Will definitely stay again
Our second stay here at Le Germain Maple Leaf Square. This time, we received a slightly smaller room, but with a MUCH better view. We had a full view of the CN tower and could see the lake as well. It was so beautiful. If you're outraged by the valet parking charge like we were, there are at least three other parking options within a three minute walk from the hotel. We have learned that the breakfast isn't the best so we just head down to Longo's (in the same building) and grabbed Starbucks and some fruit. During this stay, we utilized the hotel bar. It was reasonably priced and the staff was so polite. The staff in this entire hotel has always been 110% professional and courteous. For us, that's huge. The only complaints to make future guests aware of is that the wifi during this stay was extremely in and out, and the shower has almost no pressure (but theres limitless hot water).

Ultra contemporary Boutique - Room can be Noisy
The hotel is right next to the Air Canada sports arena. It is a high rise and there is a sports bar and shopping center next door and even a gourmet grocery store in the basement. Rooms are ultra modern and contemporary. The shower is a little odd with glass walls with open view to the room however you can close the blinds to shield you for privacy. The room is comfortable however there is one major issue. I was on the 4th floor and even after closing the shades and curtains there was excessive street noise coming from outside. Even late at night or very early in the am you can hear trucks rumble by and cars blowing there horn and even the train going by. In the guide book left on the desk they explain that road noise is to be expected. They do leave a pair of ear plugs in the room that is in a small gold box on the head board that could be mistaken for a chocolate mint box. I would urge you to request a room away from the street even if that means no view or less windows if you want a quiet nights sleep. I was only there 2 nights so didn't request a change of room. Breakfast is minimal self serve continental breakfast however the servers do bring coffee, tea, juice etc to your table and their service is good. Frankly you would be better off eating at a Hampton for at least a couple of hot items and more selection.
