A beautiful little place
Our plane was delayed getting into Edinburgh and we kept calling to let them know. The owner was very accommodating and was there at nearly midnight when we finally got in to greet us and help us to our room. There are a lot of stairs so everyone in your party needs to be able to do stairs! The house is just beautiful and the room was quiet and cool and super comfortable. The hot breakfast was delicious and made to order.

Hotel Cellidh Donia Rocks
We stayed at Hotel Cellidh Donia for 4 nights but felt like we’d known Kevin & Susan for years The location was on a quiet street next to Dalleith Road which is a major thoroughfare in Edinburgh. It was very easy & inexpensive to catch a bus to the Royal Mile & other parts of town from Dalkeith Road. The Salisbury Arms was a good place to eat & breakfast at Cellidh Donia was superb. In summary this b&b was comfortable, convenient, & homey in the middle of a world class city. Oh, btw, it had a”cracking” little bar with great whisky! One issue might be the stairs. They are rather steep so if you have mobility issues request a downstairs room. They have 2.
