Not reccomended! A very old hotel
Never going back to this hotel. Old facilities, scary decoration, heavy atmosphare. Corridors looks like a Bordel with it's red carpets and Tiger fur on the walls. No lift to carry luaggage. Toilet and bath are from 1970's.

    Good place to stay...BUT...
Overall this was an enjoyable place to stay. It's a bit quirky, but that didn't bother me. It is in a great location within walking distance of ancient sites, the harbor, and local attractions. I wanted a place close to these things and close to the SCUBA diving shop. The staff was very kind and helpful. I only have 2 complaints: 1) the A/C functioned very poorly. I was never completely comfortable in the room. 2) On the last day, after they changed the linen, I came back to lay down on the bed for a nap. My shoulder began to itch...I looked down and there were bed bugs on the corner of the bed. ARGHH! GROSS! I notified the staff and took a video to show them. Though I was going to check out later in the day, I checked out immediately. The staff was gracious in the way they handled it but they probably should have paid for a portion of the room. They paid for my very small bar tab, but that didn't seem like enough. I didn't complain since I was checking out anyway, but I probably won't stay there again. If it weren't for the bedbug issue, I would have recommended this place to anyone.

    Roman no....Russian Hotel
The staff were almost totally Russian as were the guests, which appear to be tour package groups. The staff knows nothing about the area as most of the guests appear to stay the whole time in the hotel. The rooms, ah yes the rooms....kitsch. All walls are covered with drawings of Egyptian, Greek, Roman and Minoan fighters. The worst are the Sphinx figures on the wall next to the bed with what appears to be silicone implanted giant breasts.....very bad tast. Still the breakfast was good, the pool very clean
