Avoid at all costs! Dirty & Poor Service
Disgraceful stay! Broken lift with no explanation from receptionist and couldn’t explain how to get to floor 3 without using the lift. Got told at reception I had to pay £12 for parking, when I arrived at midnight. At the car park prices showed £8 for upto 8 hours, £12 for upto 12 hours. I wasn’t given these options at reception and told I couldn’t get a refund. Once parked, the door was locked so had to walk back up the hill to get to my room. When I got in the room it was a dire mess. Dirty sheets and flooring, dust throughout, urine stains on the landing and bathroom. Windows wouldn’t open, woke up in the morning with bite marks on my body from the room. Potentially bed bugs. Awful, awful stay. Never again! I paid £40 for the room, and it was considerably overpriced!

Hotel could be so much better with a little effort & money spent. Bedrooms ok.Bathrooms need improving with horrible shower curtains removed & new screens fitted. Breakfast room could be improved with juices etc replaced when empty.Food lukewarm. Hotel is in a good position & reception staff were very polite. Just need to up their game to compete with surrounding hotels or reduce their prices accordingly.

Luckily this was cheap!! The hotel was very outdated and smelt of damp in bedroom. Springs from mattress stuck in you while sleeping and the dust in the room was shocking. Lifts not working and shower just dribbled out.
