El Balcon, Cusco
I loved my stay at El Balcon! Close enough to the action, but far enough to be quiet at night. Bed was comfy, food in the restaurant was good, staff friendly and helpful. No issues holding my bag while I trekked the Inca Trail. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience
We were very pleased with the accommodations, attention to detail of the properties decor, the inclusive breakfasts which were delicious, the extra attention in times of need, the great staff working at El Balcon and the amazing meals offered in the restaurant. Lorenzo is a talented chef with an eye to detail when presenting meals. We would definitely return here if back in Cusco and will recommend it to any friends visiting the city. A+ for marks.

Lovely experience
This place was all that we expected and more! The vibe, food, location and service went beyond expectations! They helped us with phone calls, flight boarding passes, luggage storage , etc. For non- Spanish speaking travelers, doing Peru on our own this was a God send.

Charming boutique style hotel
This hotel is charming. The room I stayed in was a balcony room on the 2nd floor. The balcony is the access to all the rooms on 2nd floor, not a room balcony. You can sit & relax with the city view of Cusco. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good consisting of fruits, juices and 4 hot food entries (pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, or eggs made to your order & toast. The restarant makes everything home made for dinners and I enjoyed the quality so much, I didn't eat out side the 3 days I stayed .Coca tea is available all day and a complementary bottle of filtered water every day. I liked the friendliness of the staff. The hot water was plentiful. The hotel is on steep hill just a few blocks to San Aramis square. Walking down hill, no problem. Walking up hill back to the hotel requires stamina. I am not a hiker but I am physically fit and I became short of breath probably altitude related. Warning-the rooms on the street are very noisy from traffic and sounds like a bunch of rolling luggages were racing down the cobblestone street!! You will need earplugs at night. Wifi is great and hotel doesn't have TV's so you will have more time for enjoying your hotel & its garden.
