Great hotel
Great hotel and a quiet location. The staff were so helpful and very nice. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was good- lots of choices. Had 2 massages- wonderful & relaxing. The bathrooms had some weird mold or dirt on the walls. I would stay there again for sure

Good location
The hotel is old but nice. Staff is very helpful and made bookings and looked for day tours for us. The area I good with walking distance to the old quarter and many restaurants in the neighborhood.

Highly Recommend - In the heart of the Old Quarter
- Airport pick up service: seamless! Walked right out of the terminal and was greeted by our driver holding a sign - Check in: easy and welcomed with drinks and delicious fruit - Room: clean and surprisingly very spacious, high ceilings, thank goodness for the strong AC, beds were a little hard but some people prefer that - Location: perfect! Can easily walk to all the main attractions of Hanoi - Everyone who worked here was so kind and helpful. Spoke great English - Took advantage of the spa and laundry services: great!

Nice location. Nice staff. Good place to stay!
The staff are very welcoming and attentive. I had a problem with the wifi just as I had to be on a teleconference for work but they worked for a while to try to fix it, eventually successfully! I paid extra for the netter bathtub but it turned out the tub was not connected to power so the jets did not function. At least there was sufficient hot water to fill the tub for a relaxing soak. There is view of the street, not so pretty but at least it wasn't loud. I slept well on the very large and comfortable bed. The breakfast was quite good!

Good quality but left feeling cheated
The area around the hotel doesn't allow cars on the weekends. This can be good, but I've stayed in other areas of the city where you can have the hotel call a taxi for you. This hotel is not able to call a taxi and it makes getting to another part of the city very difficult from Friday- Monday morning. Also, I booked the best room for myself, my wife, and her sister (Imperial - King). They said they would charge $10 a night for the "extra guest", even though I had already booked the best room available. I looked at the receipt after getting into the taxi to the airport and they charged $15 a night. Don't listen to their recommendations about travel either-- it is almost 3x what you should pay (Ha Long / Ninh Binh).
