The hotel is located in a safe area. The hotel condition is definitely showing its age, as it needs an update. The landscaping and lawn maintenance seems in need of attention. Check in was great. Front desk attendant was very helpful. Hotel is in a good quiet location. Room was ok. Nothing extravagant, the furniture was worn, some tiles on the floor were broken, draperies were lacking, but it was fairly clean and the pillows were comfortable. Really not worth the money we paid though.

This Hampton Inn is in a good location, off highway 61 near grocery stores, fast food restaurants and other shops. The front desk workers were friendly. The breakfast and the fitness room were consistent with other Hampton Inns. The hotel was clean but it was definitely dated. Also, there was poor lighting in the parking lot and our room was cool (it was cold outside when we were there). Overall, not fancy but decent.

Property could use better maintenance

My basic requirements for a hotel stay are quiet and a hot shower. Both requirements were met. Breakfast was pretty standard for Hampton Inn. Bed and room furniture were fine. The problems were minor maintenance issues - screws sticking out of a poorly aligned door frame, perhaps mold around fire suppression system... (photos attached) I have stayed here before and probably will again.
