It is too expensive, comparatively. You can walk to the beach, the beach is not free. You can walk to Riviera Park, it is not very close to the hotel. There is a free shuttle to the park, however.

One of many small hotels in Sochi
They do not accept credit cards and I had to pay in cash for the stay upon my arrival. I was not happy at all because I had to go to the city to search for ATM of my bank to get cash. The hotel is located a little far from Sochi city center (embankment) - about 10-15 minutes by bus. There is a small pool in the hotel and they don't have their own sea beach. So if you want to go to the sea you should buy a pass card to the nearest resort. Then you can walk to this resort (10 min) and use its better facilities including much bigger pool, sea beach, playgrounds for kids, cafe and medical center. Room service was not so good. They did not clean well bathroom and did not replenish shower gel and shampoo sachets every day.

You need to read or speak Russian!
Don't be misled by English language webpages: only 1 staff member spoke some English, the menu was only in Russian, and there were no maps of the Sochi or the area available. There was no mini bar or fitness despite the advertising. If you speak or read Russian, then stay there, otherwise I'd go elsewhere.

Отель в целом неплох, но конечно не соответствует заявленной цене. Очень сильно тащит отель спа-салон, куда приезжают и местные тоже, спа-салон - роскошный. Завтраки обычные, номера хорошие, интернет был не очень и все время разъединялась сеть. Персонал несмотря на то, что мы были с маленьким ребёнком заселил нас на последний этаж отеля, что нас удивило
