Great staff, noisy stay
The staff was incredible. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as it can be. Breakfast was delicious, although the selection is the same every day. Location isn't right in the heart of the main tourist area, but it's just off the main street and convenient to walk most places you'll want to visit in Cusco. Biggest downside is that this hotel is very noisy. You can hear people walking up/down the stairs, locking their doors and listening to TV from inside the building. From outside, you can hear nearby restaurants, dogs barking, traffic and some music from nearby bars on the weekends. Definitely not a place for light sleepers.

Don't Bother - you can do far better for same $$$
I was very disappointed. The room was small, very sparsely furnished, with one very small window, which was over a very busy street. The traffic cop whistle got really old after awhile... The room was no where near as nice as the website made it look. Try the Hotel Taypikala instead. Same money, far nicer room, service, neighborhood, etc.

Not as good as it looks in the pictures
This hotel looks nice from the outside, but from the inside.... well: 1) They only allow 2 towels per room a day, 2) The bed is really uncomfortable and the sheets always come out while you're sleeping, 3) The hot water wasn't working the first day I got there, 4) Electricity went out the last day we were there, 5) The gate is always locked even in mid-day so you have to wait for someone to come open it for you, 6) The neighborhood is a little outside the main area and a little sketchy, 7) They wanted to take our key from us every time we left the hotel- I don't know why, 8) No elevators. On the positive side, the breakfast was decent and the chef will make your eggs however you want them.

The friendliest place
The staff answered our many questions about Cusco and were generally very helpful. Generous breakfast. Walking distance to main plaza.
