Glenerin Inn, Mississauga
Not luxurious at all....
This place looks amazing in the photo, but they have serious maintenance issues. I specifically chose this hotel because it listed hypoallergenic bedding and had a bathtub. After a long day, I was extremely upset to find the bathtub had a broken drain and no plug. A call to the front desk resulted in a plug being brought about 20 minutes later, however, due to a raised metal part, it wouldn't fit properly! My husband wrapped a plastic bag around it and I was able to soak my sore muscles a bit. The pillows were terribly uncomfortable; when I woke up in the morning my eyes were swollen due to my allergy to mites... Which means those pillows had not been cleaned properly in some time. Before we left for the day I informed reception of these issues. We returned at 11 pm to find nothing had been done. Back to the front desk I went... they moved us to what seemed like a much mixer room, but half the jets in the whirlpool tub did not work, the hair dryer quit after 10 seconds of operation, and I still woke up with swollen eyes. No luxury to be had here!

Very Good8.0
Our room needed a through cleaning. The dark wall showed lots of dust attached to it. As well as the shower walls and ceiling needed a good washing. Service was excellent. Breakfast tasty.

No rest or working TV at this Inn
The grounds are beautiful, quaint, cute, etc and our room was clean. However, we were not aware or warned of a wedding that would last past 1am in the morning. The music was excruciatingly loud and there was no peace. Also, the TV would work intermittently so we'd have to reset it every half hour or so. We had to get up at 6am to catch our flight. For having to endure that much noise, they should have a "noisy" rate built into the weekend prices because that was just unacceptable. When we told the people at check-out, not one simple apology was uttered from anyone. It was a sad experience. Not sure how the weeknights are but definitely not recommended for weekend nights.

Beautiful, but not great
It is such a beautiful building, but the service and stay weren't great. The front desk staff made us feel like we weren't good enough to stay there, and the walls were so thin that we could hear every toilet in the building flush. I wanted to love this place, because it looked so nice, but it felt like something we just put up with, on our romantic weekend.
