La Casa del Atrio, Queretaro
It was amazing. This is a paradise in the middle of Queretaro. The grounds had many beautiful areas to sit and read. My room had a 2 person jacuzzi and I could sleep with all the windows open because I was on the second floor with no neighbors.

Our favorite stay in years.
This was perhaps the best room we have had in years. The people were friendly and helpful. The central city is just outside the door.

Going to return
Enjoyed my stay at La Casa del Atrio. It's located perfectly. The staff was incredibly nice and luckily for me several of them speak English as my Spanish is nil. They were able to exchange the pillows as I am allergic to down and always made breakfast to order. I enjoyed eating in the central patios admist the flowers and birdsong. Entering through their antiques shop was a bit confusing but it gave me something to look at while waiting for my traveling companions. I'll be taking my family to La Casa del Atrio in the near future.

Great location and setting
Eccentric and homey. Great location. Service is very good and only thing to watch for if you are sleeping late is that some rooms lead out to small courtyard where breakfast is you might not be able to sleep in due to noise of others dining. Great location for a couple

Beautiful, authentic Casa del Atrio
Casa del Atrio was a beautiful, clean, comfortable hotel. I loved everything about it. Located in historic downtown Queretaro, it is, I think, an old monastery. The large, high ceilinged rooms are off of beautiful courtyards adorned with flowering trees and bushes and antiques. The beds were incredibly comfortable. I can't say enough nice things about the service. Every staff member we came into contact with was very accommodating, pleasant, and made us feel so welcomed. Even the owner, or maybe he was the manager, came each morning while we were having (delicious) breakfasts to ask how we were enjoying our stay. I will definitely come back here.
