APA Hotel Osaka-Higobashi-Ekimae, Osaka
Anther APA in Osaka
The best thing about this hotel is that it has a subway entrance, in front of you as you leave the hotel. This is an APA hotel that has four elevators, instead of most only having one. The staff is, as usual, very friendly.

Central location, right in the center of Osaka
If you want full Osaka trip, this is the place to be. Right in the middle of CBD, North South East West there’s something to see.

2018 Kansai Spring Trip
Over-all, it a great experience staying at the APA-Hotel Osaka-Higosbashi-Ekimae! The best advantage it's so close to the Higosbashi subway station that goes to Osaka Station/JR Namba Station (Gate Number 3- is right in front of the Hotel). It is also close to Keihan Railway Station, about 10 mins walk to Gate No. 4. Keihan trains goes all the way to Kyoto--to all the sightseeing sights in the Higashiyama area. Metro Osaka that goes to Shin-Osaka/Osaka Station is also accessible by Gate 4. The staff are very helpful, once you ask them for directions to sightseeing spots and train stations. They will also provide maps. The room is small, but it is expected (we stayed in Tokyo in 2016 and the room was just as small, but we stayed in another APA Hotel in Hiroshima, and the room seems bigger--or maybe because we have less luggage then). Housekeeping is fine, and amenities are provided daily. Two bottles of water would be better though, instead of one. The Currency Exchange machine in the Hotel gives far less conversion (from USD to yen) than in other areas. The surrounding area is a nice, with tall buildings; 7-11 shop, Daily Mart, and Lawson's are close by for snacks/breakfast items. A noodle/tempura shop across the street is very affordable and provides fast service. The Hotel has a nice outdoor ambience, but inside it is pretty laid back, but everything worked out fine for our 6-night stay. I would recommend staying in the Hotel, and would stay again in the future.
