Good stay
We enjoyed this hotel. We booked a Superior Double Room, Non Smoking for 2 adults including breakfast buffet which was had a King Bed and we were on the 9th floor. Our room was good, decent size. Very clean and quiet. We used the washers and dryers, we had been traveling for 10 days before, that is the only place that needs improvement. There are only two of each and are very small, not industrial size, causing us to spend time trying to wash and dry cloths when we would have rathered be out exploring. We did get to use the amazing massage chairs though while waiting. Location is great, walkable to multiple train stations and Tokyo Dome. Lots of food options and shopping around. We also loved having the buffet breakfast. Beautiful and delighful way to start a day. The inner courtyard was amazing. We never went hungry. The options were amazing and fresh and plentiful. Staff were great.

Best hotel, hands down!
After staying in shoebox size rooms, this hotel was a breath of spacious fresh air. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with plenty of room to move around. They offer free coffee and tea pods, as well as complimentary bottled water, in the room. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for its exceptional rooms in addition to its accommodating staff.

Lovely place to stay
Lovely hotel in a convenient location, a short walk from the Suidobashi train station with easy access to Ochanomizu and Akihabara. The room was larger than some you'll find in Tokyo, very well laid out, and the price was reasonable. There's a breakfast buffet that will satisfy every taste, with both Western and Japanese items on the menu. The hotel is on a side street off the main drag, and so is very quiet, but it's easy to get to. There are two colleges on the main street, which helps account for the interesting restaurants and small-plate-and-drinks places to eat. It may not have the name or the big cocktail-lounge-lobby of Tokyo's name brand establishments, but Hotel Niwa is a gem. Did I mention that the staff is terrific and anxious to please?
