Worth the money
Nice hotel. Good standards in the stateroom. Towels smells strange, too much softener? Not dried enough? Security is a bit too relaxed or too sharp eyed hard to tell. Close to train and not too close to all the noise. Just a couple minutes walk to Robinsons, a huge shopping mall. The hotel restaurant isn't the greatest but breakfast is okay.

Great, if you are in a pinch & need a place to sta
Totally smoke free. Not a place for smokers. The room was infested with ants. Seems like they go into everything. No free coffee or tea in the room yet had the standard room fridge and coffee maker. If you like hot baths, forget about it. At the rate their hot water coming out of the tap, it would take several hrs to fill a tub. Thank god they had showers.

Had appointment at US Embassy; had previously stayed at Bayview, but they were filled on the dates needed so I booked at Casa Boboco after reading a number of reviews, and I am glad I did. This hotel will be my first choice in the future when staying in Manila. Although it was a bit further to the embassy taxis were plentiful, and the cab ride to the embassy was only 100 pesos. Our room was great, cleaner than Bayview, free breakfast buffet with a good selection, staff was friendly and helpful. Only suggestion would be to advise the guest if the water in the room was safe to drink. I did not think of this but my wife who is from the Philippines said I should ask. Only then did I find out our rooms water should not be consumed, at that point they offered to send a pitcher of drinking water to our room. We had two small children, and if it were not for my wife I would have unknowingly let them drink water from the tap. Other than that I would recommend this hotel over the previously mentioned competitor.

Definitely worth the stay
Overall, this hotel is very affordable and worth it. The customer service is great. My only suggestions would be to improve on the following: - WIFI: The signal strength is too weak in the room. Need to install a WIFI extender. - Water Pressure: There were times when the water pressure was too weak probably because of too many guests using it at once. - Bathroom: The architecture of the sink in the bathroom does not make sense. It's definitely not designed for the average American. Also, the bathroom lighting is too weak. BENEFITS - Food. If you like Filipino food with a Spanish twist, then you have to eat at the hotel restaurant. - Breakfast. It's now a buffet! Yay!! - Clean. It's so clean that they're always mopping and cleaning the floors.
