Great find!
It was lovely and comfortable! Our room was over a busy intersection, so the traffic whistles were a little loud in the morning. Very walkable to Wat Pho, the Grand Palace, Chinatown, the flower market and many other places!

decent for the price paid
first off, the bed was hard as a rock, so it was a little uncomfortable for a perfect night's rest, the sink was already clogged when i got there even though it was spotless. the staff were very friendly, the restaurant has decent food and the wifi connection was poor. the location makes up for it though, being very walkable to cool places like the pak klong flower market and phahurat market. idk if i would go walking around at night though.

Great hotel/ Great In house Taxi
Great value packed place to stay. Walking distance to Wat Pho (10-15 min) or a very short tuk-tuk ride (100Baht). Staff was friendly and taxi service was very helpful( you'll pay just a little more after price negotiations, but the cars are in great shape and very clean). Danny speaks English very well, so it was very easy to communicate where we wanted to go without issue. Took us to Pattaya with a stop at Tiger Zoo for very good price.

A pit stop for tour groups..avoid if you can
During our three weeks in Thailand, my wife and I stayed in six hotels and this was by far the worst. I don't want to sound too dramatic, but the sum of all the negatives made this a bad choice for staying more than a night to rest your head. The negatives included; 1) when we arrived we found broken glass on the floor in the bathroom, 2) the place is just LOUD (banging doors in the hallway, busload after busload of tourists coming in at all hours of the night, more banging in the next rooms, paper thin walls, loud music blaring late into the night), 3) the food served at breakfast was just plain bad (and I'm not really expecting much from hotel buffets either), 4) no security safe in the room, and 5) nothing in the neighborhood except industrial metal shops and construction sites. I really couldn't think of a single reason to choose this hotel over another except for price, but even that was a stretch. There are plenty of better hotels in Bangkok, in the same price range, that would provide a more pleasant stay. Leave this place to the multitude of tour groups passing through on there way somewhere else.
