We'd come back tomorrow!
We really enjoyed our stay. This is such a cute bed and breakfast. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade in the guest house. It was decorated with Victorian style antiques. The carpet was old but we didn't care the place was just so darling. The bed was clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly.

charming hotel with true southern hospitality
The Hotel Strasbourg was a charming, old-fashioned inn. The staff was delightful and cheerful, and the rooms quaint and quirky. My friend and I came for an organized bike ride and everyone was easy to get along with and understanding of some of our more quirky needs. A big shout out to Eva who if she isn't the manager should be, as she treated me and my friend with generosity and kindness.

Stay away for this hotel
Please do yourself a favor and not book this hotel. Nowhere does it say that this hotel closes at 10:00 PM. We arrived after 10:00 and were informed that they were closed. The lady was rude and hung up after saying that we could get our money back from Thank goodness, they did give our money back because said that the hotel refused to do so.

Property not maintained.......
This stay was a very unpleasant one. I have stayed at this property several times and those were good experinces, - the last overnight was two years back. I don't think they have maintained since that time. Outside sidewalks crumbled, turn of the century facade unpainted and flaking.......i had booked a queen double for myself and my elderly mother. They put us in the 'Taylor House' which is an unattached, unattended building next to the main hotel house. It was disgusting - 5 windows, - 1shade up, 1 down on end table, the remaining none.Wall to wall rug was gross and beyond anything a professional cleaner could fix. They had one queen bed and a day bed on a separate wall and an ancient tv that could be viewed from one bed. The kicker was it has a spring tub built into an extended closet with a 1\2 curtain - top to mid down. Moved to main building, ....better but unkempt. No internet but the staff tried to bounce the modem which gave me 2 to 3 minutes before it would time out (just be ancient dialup). I lost a client (a 5k loss), because I could not work away from home. Other issue - in room room ringing on and off for a few hours - busy signal when answering.....found out it was a family member calling but staff wanted itinerary # and would send them to for info. Why could they just not find me via my name?(crazy!!) Numerous other issues...... I consider myself a tolerant person, this was intolerable. Will not return.....
