Breakfast is not worthy.
Very good hotel but breakfast selection not that much, is not worthy for the price NT$898.No fresh juice no sparkling water. Otherwise is a good hotel.

Once was nice, but going downhill fast
Have stayed five times over five years and the hotel is rapidly showing wear and tear. The gym, once nice, now has a pervasive sewage odor that is prevalent on streets in Asia, not normally inside nice hotels. Our room had persistent electrical issues with the lights flickering constantly, and which they were unable to fix. They did offer to switch rooms but it was already our last night. Finishings are showing wear and dings, meaning that for such a young hotel to be looking banged up they must have done things on the cheap. The hotel no longer has an upstairs bar, though for some reason confusing signs for it remain. The only choice to meet people for drinks is in the lobby. Another point about the lobby: unless you are buying food or drinks you are not allowed to sit in 90% of the lobby area. Even if you are a guest you are relegated to a tiny bench area by the elevator. This is not ideal if you have some time to kill for waiting for a flight, etc. Now that Taipei is getting some other high end hotel options there is little reason to stay at this rapidly fading star.
