Nasty front desk ( might be manager)
The gal that worked the front desk ( maybe the manager) was nasty and mean. She interrupted us when we tried to ask a question, rolled her eyes while talking to us and was really rude. The breakfast was horrible, do not eat it. Their excuse was they don't do much when it's not busy. The beds were hard. I felt like I was sleeping on a table top. The bathroom was small but the shower was pretty and had been updated. We had a fridge but no microwave. The location is great, right in the middle of town.

A later check out time beyond 10am would make the stay better.

Family friendly
We had a great time! Maybe we were spoiled because we got the corner room that overlooked the chairlifts and it was large. Staff was friendly, check in was easy. We would definitely go back to Sun Peaks and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the same hotel. The only drawback we found was that the wi-fi was spotty. Our son couldn't use his kindle and husband couldn't connect a few times.

The Sin Peak village was quaint - designed like a Swiss ski resort. Pedestrian walkway was very compact and walking friendly.

Comfortable & Clean
Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The village is very compact and everything is within walking distance. Both people working the front desk were very nice, but I think this is more of a winter ski area. There were a few places closed, including the steak house located in the hotel. It is a very nice little village, but there was nothing going on in the way of entertainment on our Friday night. Streets pretty empty.
