Fair
The little hotel that couldn't
This hotel is in dire need of basic maintenance and renovation: The gate at the entrance had a broken handle and the lock needed manual manipulation to open. (Fixed with duct tape during our stay.) The door handles to the rooms rattled and looked like a strong shove could open them. The AC was making a strong impression of a jet engine (although to be fair, it worked). If you like sleeping hot, turn off the AC. If you like sleeping cold, forget about it. Cleanliness was fair, although there was a lizard in the sink, so there's that. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend staying here.

We loved the Lorelei!
Last minute getaway with my wife. Found this little place near Johns pass where we wanted to spend the afternoon. Had good reviews and the price was right so we gave it a shot. It was perfect for us and we will be back. Fair warning, if you're looking to be pampered in a beautiful resort hotel, this is not the place for you. Small room and bathroom, basic accommodations. This place is shabby chic. Small ten room old style motel. No pool. Why we loved it. Dock in back overlooking the bay was perfect place to wake up with a cup of coffee. Beach access directly across the street to wide white sand beach. Lots of restaurants and clubs a short walk or drive from the motel. The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and dishes. For the price, we couldn't have asked for more Again, if you want a 5 star hotel, don't stay here. If you want a clean, comfortable place to lay you're head after enjoying all the area has to offer with the money you'll save on the room, give the Lorelei a shot. I'm glad we did.

Very Good
This motel accepts pets. My first thought was, how clean can that be? On the contrary, there was no sign of pets having been in my room, but some of the guests did have pets in their rooms. This motel has ample free parking and is on the bay with a dock, perfect to drive a boat up to or fish from. It's an older motel but has the modern conveniences of new hotels, including microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, flat screen TV, and a refrigerator/ freezer. Treasure Island Beach is a short walk across the street to the Gulf of Mexico. The location offers plenty of nightlife for fun, or quiet enough to enjoy the stars from the peaceful dock on the bay. the Lorelei Resort Motel is within walking distance to grocery shopping, lots of restaurants, and establishments with some great entertainment. Motel staff is very friendly and hospitable. The Lorelei is a a great value.

Poor
DISAPPOINTING STAY
AS SAID IN INFO, THERE WAS NO BAR, NO RESTAURANT, NO GIFT SHOP. ROOMS WERE NOT AS PICTURED. TV DID NOT WORK IN FIRST ROOM, THEY SPENT 1/2 HOUR TRYING TO FIX, THEN DECIDED TO MOVE US. HAD TO WAIT OVER 1/2 FOR THEM TO CLEAN ANOTHER ROOM. WENT THERE FOR 42ND. ANNIVERSARY GETAWAY, WAS TOTALLY LETDOWN. WE THOUGHT WE COULD EAT THERE HAVE A FEW DRINKS, WOULD NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL AROUND TOWN. NOT SO MUCH. MY HUSBAND IS DISABLED TO MADE IT HARD ON US.

Clean bargain intercoastal motel beach across the
Well kept smaller Mom and Pop motel with nice deck on intercoastal beach access just across the street Hot Plate kitchen utensils included refrigerator nice clean room had a very nice time. No Frills lodging but the price reflects that, definitely not overpriced. also no extra charge of you have your pet with you .we didn't have a pet but could not tell that any had ever been in the room where we stayed. We will definitely return for future stays .
