The place was great, well situated and well kept. Beautiful views, great food and service. My only complaint is that the Keurig machine was not clean. If that’s the only mark against, Id say that they are doing a great job.

Nice place for a stay
Our stay was very nice . The lodges are very peaceful and quaint. However it needs to be noted that the restaurant is closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s !! Also of note Breakfast is no longer included in your stay ! However you can order a breakfast basket for $16.95. This add on isn’t listed when reserving your stay . And that is why we give the lodge a 7 out of 10, Thank you Ed

Good not great.
Went for a one night stay and battlefield weekend. Came up around 2p and cabin wasn’t ready. Had to let toddler sleep in car. Check in was easy and quick. Cabin was large and adequate. But like all have said, I have not seen such small tvs in a room in a LONG TIME. My infotainment system in my car is almost bigger lol. The water was slightly above trickle throughout house. Hot water non existent. Wifi- unreliable. Food at restaurant was really good and you get $5 off. Pricey but delicious. The hotel stores prices were not bad. Would I stay again? Perhaps. But more likely as a last resort. Their was no kitchenette in the cabins. The drapes had food on them. Staff friendly. Location is great but a 10 min drive to most of battlefield.

Sleeping accommodations are questionable.
If you are bringing a party of more than 4 people and are planning on using the pull-out sofa bed as a means of sleeping you might be as irritated as I was. It was extremely uncomfortable and could not be slept in. We crammed 3 people in one of the queen beds for our 2 night stay. Believe me when I say I’m not that picky about where I sleep either. As others mentioned, the TVs are really small. TVs are pretty inexpensive nowadays , please upgrade since there are not a lot of activities for children such as a pool or playground. Other than that, the place is pretty nice and the staff is friendly. Good for a couple looking to relax.

Wonderful scenic location and an easy drive to Gettysburg, we really looked forward to our three night stay. Unfortunately, uncomfortable beds, warped wood blinds and furniture in need of updating were an unwelcome surprise. The Lodges are not described as "rustic" cabins and we knew breakfast was not included, but we didn't expect that no one would clean, replenish items or even empty a wastebasket. Covid was given as a reason, yet we weren't alerted of the practice at check-in and no other protocols like masking or sanitizing stations were in place. Guests should not have to trek to the main building, in the rain, at the end of a busy day, to retrieve a needed roll of toilet paper. It is my hope that the Lodges of Gettysburg will make the updates to both furnishings and service needed to match their beautiful and peaceful location.
