Next to Bannockburn
I booked late in the day. Its basically a motel in ok condition, and the front desk was very helpful and friendly. There's a pub in the lobby that was a good place to watch a football game, several neighborhood people in there watching also, decent food. Outskirts of town, not much around besides the Bannockburn/Robert the Bruce memorial site next door. I did see some very small ants in my room around where I'd left my toiletries bag on the desk -- after I washed off the bag in the bathroom I saw no more, so it is possible they came from elsewhere.

A Bit Dated But Nice
Good hotel within a short drive to Stirling Castle. A bit dated but the staff was friendly and the bar food and drink were good.

Stayed one. Night, room was adequate, beds not the comfiest, but was ok. The meal was lovely and good breakfast. The hotel could do with up dating, but would recommend, staff helpful and very friendly, would stay here again. Quiet area no traffic, or noise from outside.

Great base of operations for a short stay.
Just an overnight stay, due to an engagement in Stirling. While the hotel is adequate, I would consider it a little dated in decor and styling. That isn't to say it wasn't clean and well presented. The staff themselves, especially on arrival were outstanding; to the point that I emailed the hotel to compliment the receptionist I dealt with. On the downside, people with disabilities will be hindered, both in parking (one disabled spot in the whole car park) and no lift to the upper floors. Thankfully, the aforementioned receptionist found me a room on the ground floor and had my bags taken to the room; without even the need to ask.
