Great stopover hotel 20 min from PVG
Beautiful and clean hotel, well-furnished, spacious rooms (I was upgraded to the executive floor) with a fancy tub and separate shower. Free airport shuttle to the airport was great. Taxi ride from the airport (I arrived too late to use the hotel shuttle) was 83 RMB. I didn't buy the breakfast (pricey and not included in my rate) and didn't have time to explore the area, but there's a metro stop not far away and a connected McDonalds.

A great place for a short stay by Pudong airport
I booked for a night closer to the airport before my trip back to the US, and wish I booked the hotel for my entire stay. The place is conveniently located by the airport (about 7km away). The hotel has two restaurants with variety of foods to offer, a Starbucks in the first floor and a lounge/bakery as well. The customer service is great. Highly recommended (also it has a shuttle to the airport; which is quite convient)

Night before flight
Very close to the airport. The shuttle was timely and the best way to get to PVG. Hotel seemed new and breakfast had good selections. A McDonald's is next door and several shops for meals, drinks and snacks in the complex behind the hotel. Shanghai metro was a block away. Sushi bar in the hotel.

Qube Hotel Pudong
A McDonald's next door, Starbucks in the lobby. Convenience store around the corner. Sushi bar in Hotel. Breakfast has plenty of selection for western food. Shuttle bus to airport was good. Only problem was terminal 1 passengers should get on last as they are first off and the 2 front seats are for luggage, not seating. All in all a good experience.
