Only stayed one night but it was cozy, spacious, and the amenities were comforting to have.

Easy walk to the North End!
We stayed close to the Constitution & ship yard (got to see a battleship, too!). Easy walk into the North End and all the glory on Boston from there. The hotel is simple but all that we needed for our weekend. The pool is actually part of the YMCA so it's not a lounge around area, but, that wasn't the focus of our stay anyway. For location & value this was a great option.

It was good enough
The furnishings and atmosphere are similar to what you might find at a bargain brand hotel like Super 8, but at least the hotel is built solid and my room was quiet without being able to hear anything from the neighboring rooms.

Good bargin and good location
Hotel was in Charlston and just a few minutes from DT. We were able to walk to Bunker Hill and the Constitution. The rate for this place was 1/3 the price of staying DT. You can walk to the river taxi and aviod parking DT. The parking is over a block away and is 10 dollars each pull out. No breakfast but a couple of places in the area. The hotel appears to be an extended stay place and the front desk people were not exactly bubbly personalities and the rooms are cleaned late in the afternoon.

Nope
A sad attempt at disguising what has to be an old Military dorm. Highlight was that it was attached to a YMCA so it had a proper gym. Lower your expectations... Lower them again ..
