Amazing stay and incredible breakfast!
Our stay was amazing, Mattius and Faith looked after us like family. The property is in a stunning location looking out over Knysna. The breakfast they serve every morning is honestly the best I’ve ever eaten! Every morning they change the menu and they have a massive choice of items to choose from! My favourite was the truffled eggs!

Candlewood is in a great location with beautiful views the breakfast was of a 5 star hotel standard only down side is it was served from 8-9am and it was raining pretty bad while we were there so no need to be out of bed so early !! It’s a bit out of town but perfect if you have a car we used the local taxi service while there without any hassle.

Excellent customer service, friendly and welcoming. The gourmet breakfast is totally amazing. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities is fabulous. The owners are just lovely and nothing is too much trouble. This property is fantastic.

Great little guest house in Knysna
Without a doubt, this is a perfect place to stay in if you decide to make a stop at Knysna.
The hospitality was beyond imagination, the rooms are lovely and the breakfast was exquisite! The owners thought of every little detail to make the stay a very unique experience :-)
Just a small note - if you make a booking, make sure you select the relevant no. of guests. We found that the price would have been the same for 1 or 2 guests if we had selected it in advance online, however because we didn't, we payed an extra at the property...

First time in a breakfast and bed hotel
We stayed there for 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect. Ines , Andy and the staff were super kind and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional specially the daily starters, location is perfect and the view is breathtaking. Couldn’t ask for more.
We recommend it to everyone visiting knysna .
