Perfect location and amazing host!
Our stay at the Colombo Guesthouse was so wonderful that we didn’t want to leave! Francesco was incredibly helpful and informative. He gave us us maps and guides and provided recommendations for everything from dining to hiking to trains and more. The location is perfect—right on the main street but central to all parts of the village and a quick under 10 minute walk to the train station.

Very Good8.0
Good family run place nicely located
Family-run place; hosts are very knowledgeable about the area who had excellent and detailed recommendations. Quite organized and gave directions in advanced. Slight negatives were that the host was a bit impatient if you asked a question more than once (it was hard to keep all 5 names of the Cinque Terre and trails and navigation straight in a 5 mins conversation!). Also need to bring your own shampoo, towels only changed every other day.

Wonderful stay in Colombo guesthouse! Our room was lovely, in the perfect location in the center of town, near the train station. Francesco was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommended!

Lovely in Cinque Terre with Fantastic Location
Towel policy must be changed since not providing new towels every other day was not customer friendly as cinque terre is about hiking and then taking showers. Providing towels is necessary, Also, being charged for an extra towel for 3 euros is not appealing. The hotel gave us perfect advice on how to navigate the hiking system and trains. Francisco was very friendly and the location of the hotel was amazing. It was located close to the train station so we didn't have to carry our luggage too far up the hill like the other resorts. It has a family run B&B feel rather than 5 star hotel in a major city so just adjust your expectations.
