Five Stars for LUNA
Our stay with Luna Apartments was exceptional. Great customer service. Accommodations were first class. Would insist to anyone travelling to Iceland to inquire FIRST with Luna. Great company!

A home versus a hotel
The apartment exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the “Basement” unit and was apprehensive about the name. Self checkin was easy and it just got better from there. The apartment is HUGE, with a separate entrance via the courtyard behind the building. If you have an overactive imagination, you won’t like the back entrance. But it is in a safe area, and was so much more quiet than having a window facing the main street. The apartment itself is hip, open and full of light with two large sets of daylight french doors, a full kitchen (dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, appliances, small fridge with legitimate freezer), dining room for six, sleeper sectional in the living room, loft styled bedroom with two double beds, two large built in wardrobes, and a giant bathroom. Although I did not use the service, you can store your luggage at the office nearby. The only two small negatives is one pillow per double bed (fine by me, but not for pillow fans) and wifi signal was faint, making it hard to do work (requires patience or light planning, as wifi is plentiful through town and all tour buses).

Great price in the heart of the cith
Great apartment to stay at in the heart of everything fun in Reykjavik. Within one to 20 min walk to museums, the Harpa, the shore, everything. Clubs bumping till 5 to 6 am every night, yet the noise level and lights coming in were fine and comfortable to get a good night rest. Highly recommended.

So convenient
It was on the main shopping and restaurant street in downtown. Close to everything. If you are a light sleeper, you may need earplugs on the weekends as the local pubs and bars are open until 430 am.
