Great spot, but bring earplugs!
Great apartment in the middle of town; the only complaint was no instructions on how to use the stove (Google/YouTube to the rescue, eventually) and the live band across the street that went on stage at midnight on a Wednesday.... Earplugs or headphones are a must. We loved everything else about it!

As expected
The apt was clean, spartan, the beds comfortable. The tv should be in the living room, not the bedroom. Like everything in Iceland, over priced. But it’s clearly supply & demand issue. The location was very good.

Next to almost everything!
Amazing apartment with small kitchen, bathroom and bed. Very clean. Easy to access and to find. Centrally located. Close to Bonus supermarket and tourist office plus much more. Please bring ear buds to get a good rest as this place is next to a busy frequented street. Other than that, perfect place to stay!

The noise from the street was till 2am - then at 5am delivery trucks came by. plus the #4 next to us had screaming guests all day and night. I had no idea how narrow the stairs were and if you have big luggage skip this spot. I worked way too hard on vacation getting it up stairs that were small, spiral etc. Room was clean that was a plus. Others complained about keys - it was easy

Five Stars for LUNA
Our stay with Luna Apartments was exceptional. Great customer service. Accommodations were first class. Would insist to anyone travelling to Iceland to inquire FIRST with Luna. Great company!

A home versus a hotel
The apartment exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the “Basement” unit and was apprehensive about the name. Self checkin was easy and it just got better from there. The apartment is HUGE, with a separate entrance via the courtyard behind the building. If you have an overactive imagination, you won’t like the back entrance. But it is in a safe area, and was so much more quiet than having a window facing the main street. The apartment itself is hip, open and full of light with two large sets of daylight french doors, a full kitchen (dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, appliances, small fridge with legitimate freezer), dining room for six, sleeper sectional in the living room, loft styled bedroom with two double beds, two large built in wardrobes, and a giant bathroom. Although I did not use the service, you can store your luggage at the office nearby. The only two small negatives is one pillow per double bed (fine by me, but not for pillow fans) and wifi signal was faint, making it hard to do work (requires patience or light planning, as wifi is plentiful through town and all tour buses).
