Sofia Hotel, Heraklion
Good6.0
The first stay was great. Second stay on June 27th was very upsetting as othe guests who checked in late night had 2-3 rooms that were allocated on each side of my room and the noise they made in the corridor was not acceptable. I had specifically reserved at Sofia so I could get rest before my return 21 hours trip to the USA and unfortunately due to these conditions I hardly got any sleep. I even at one point asked that they keep the noise down but too bad that I had to experience this.

Visit to Greece.
Great location to catch a plane the next day, close to downtown and hotel was fine. The beds were awfully hard.

Sleepless in Crete
The front desk was helpful but nothing could improve the room. The mattresses were hard as a board and felt like the springs were poking through which resulted in a terrible night's sleep before catching a long flight the next day. Non-potable drinking water from the sink and they don't let you know they have a bottle of water in a non-obvious refrigerator.
