5 star breakfast
The breakfast is amazing! Quite the feast, so plan ahead. When checking in, they do have a space for food allergies on their form. I was too busy talking to Noel and missed that, but they did work with me the next morning and told me what I could and couldn't eat. The hotel is in an old and funky historic building, but it was comfortable and our room was huge.

Merideth House getaway.
Our stay at Meridith House was outstanding. Noel and Neal, plus the charming Westies, Dougal and Lulu, were wonderful hosts. Rooms were quaint, nicely decorated and comfortable. Bathroom, with only a shower, was small, but adequate. We were close to several excellent seafood restaurants, serving local seafood, and farm produce. Nearby beaches were scenic, and there are several historic sites nearby that make the trip interesting. Breakfast was indeed legendary! We were served a variety of local fruits, grain specialties, and the tables were ready with home baked breads, croissants and brioche. Orders for bacon, sausage, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms were taken and quickly produced - we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Dougal and Lulu made appearances at intervals, and were suitably spoiled by hotel guests. Cannot recommend more highly a stay at Merideth House.

Comfy B&B for exploring Wine Glass Bay area
This bed and breakfast was perfect for our trip to the west coast of Tasmania. The room was surprisingly cozy (with heated blankets!) and the two friendly owners (and their two adorable Westies) were very accommodating, assisting with directions, arranging a penguin tour, and even made some gluten free pastries for me at breakfast. The location is right off the main road to Freceyent National Park and just a few hours south of Bay of Fires. Great find!

Beautiful place to spend a night or two.
Beautiful colonial accommodation. We had the heritage room and had a gorgeous view of the bay. The breakfast was beyond belief with a huge selection. The owners are a very friendly couple and their dogs are so cute. Lots to enjoy sayi by in this historic building.
