Lovely little hotel an easy walk from everything
Very convenient to train (Bruxelles-Midi), easy walk to main shopping and dining district. Lovely little hotel in the euro-style (cozy, small-ish, narrow hallways) with a surprisingly generous room size for the money. Definitely pay for the breakfast, which is a treat. Also they charge fair prices (less than 5 euro) for a variety of good Belgian beers. Service was perfect -- not cloying but nonetheless nice.

Love the breakfast! It costs extra, but they have a really nice variety of foods (and yummy Belgian waffles!!)

Quick trip
Hey was great, they had no fridge (which may be an American thing) but I ended up throwing away tons of left overs.

Service was great. The area is great. The hotel has its cool. The folding bed was uncomfortable, but for the kids.

Overall, stay was good
Service was great-arrived a couple hours early and they were able to hold my bags and check me in 30 minutes early. Also, I couldn’t find a store nearby with travel size toothpaste so I asked the front desk and they were able to give me some! Cleanliness-no issues. But I did want to mention the shower is one of those “open” showers where there’s just a large piece of glass that swivels. Basically, water splashes everywhere and seeps to the side of the tub even when I tried to shower carefully. I laid out towels on the floor to keep it dry but I also think the bathroom floors are heated so that maybe dried it up quicker. That was pretty cool. Location-about 20 minutes walk from Brussels central station. There are closer train/tram stops that get you closer to the hotel but there’s still about a 7-10 minute walk required. Several corner stores around to buy snacks and water. 10-15 walk in any direction from the hotel gets you a place to eat if you’re not particularly picky and can eat anything. Amenities-bathroom has those hair/body/face soap that dispenses from the wall. Be sure to bring your own if you don’t want to shrivel up. Also, the room had a heater - perfect for a winter visit but when it would turn on (sometimes randomly in the night) it would be a loud clunking sound! Overall that and the street traffic could get pretty loud if you’re a light sleeper.
