Home away from home just keeps getting better
I decided to book hotel transportation from the airport for the first time. Online booking was smooth, a hotel representative met me at the exit after customs, and I was in the car within 5 minutes. The driver spoke good English and we had a friendly chat during the trip. Upon arrival, I was taken to my room, where the check-in was done in 5 minutes, so I have nothing but praise for the speed, efficiency, courtesy and friendliness at check-in. There was a handwritten welcoming card from the manager, which was a nice touch. Hotel management seems to be paying attention to helpful comments and suggestions in online reviews, with the hotel website offering 2-hour late check-out and room upgrade from city view to river view, though both are equally stunning at night. One cannot discuss the staff without mentioning their quality at all levels. Strategic decision making starts at the top, and has a trickle down effect. The senior managers are doing a great job as staff at all levels are extremely polite and friendly, without exception. Regardless of how hard one might try, it is difficult to fault the service and amenities. I have nothing but praise and admiration for the staff, having stayed at the hotel on 7 occasions, each of 6 days, in the past 11 months. Minor quibbles, such as long queues for elevators at night for the roof top terrace (recall Hangover II), do not detract from the overall experience, especially as hotel guests are given precedence. Truly, home away from home.

Quality is the same as always - simply outstanding
This was my sixth visit, each of at least 5 days, I have had in the past ten months, and each visit has made me want to stay longer. The staff makes one feel as if they are at home. Everything that is wonderful and enchanting about the hotel is available on the hotel's excellent website, so there is little need to expand. The details on the website are accurate, and the photos are excellent and captivating. It may sound repetitive, but the staff are always polite, friendly, gentle and helpful, which is typical of Thais. However, they are not always super efficient. As usual, the check-in was rather slow at close to 30 minutes, which is surprising for a late arrival at 10.30pm, but the express check-out was truly express at around 2 minutes. As a VIP member, I requested a room upgrade and was informed that I would be told shortly by email and a phone call, but neither actually happened. The staff everywhere was as courteous as always, which is a feature of Thai hotels in general, but the Tower Club at Lebua in particular. There was a speedy response from the technicians when the hot water system broke down at 10.00pm, a problem that seemed to be confined to my room. An alternative room was offered for a shower, but the problem was fixed in around 45 minutes. The superb Tower Club Lounge on the 52nd floor, open from 6.00am - 6.00pm, the magnificent buffet breakfast, which caters to a variety of tastes from many regions, and the efficient business centre, are worth highlighting.

Very Good 8.0
Lebua hotel was a good experience overall, despite some staff wasn’t trained at my check in and the person in charge at that moment doesn’t care about the customer (arrival 9am) this was turn to a pleasant surprise after a staff named “Lola” take care of my check in, I highly appreciate she’s an asset for Lebua team, as well I had a follow up from the duty manager and I must say thank you and this gesture means a lot for a customer. Breakfast is very good, different cuisines to reach the palates, if I am picky a bit out dated the lay out, spread in two rooms is something that confuses the customer. Room are big and clean, yet I found that need maintenance, they don’t reflect a five star hotel, view is amazing from the club tower so I would recommend to take the higher rooms. The staff from restaurants and bars are very weird, they have more than 5 bars so I went to have a look before choose where to have a drink later on that night and yes, I was in shorts and understood the dress code but I was very clear that I would like to have a look at the place to come back later and the staff was nervous and a bit rude to let me approach the entrance, this happened in level 3, they have a club lounge and after is the bar at the outside, well I wasn’t allowed to see the place from the window. Staff service from restaurants very good at breakfast and dinner, the mezzaluna restaurant, the food was average and kind to help, as well front office and bellboy

Comfortable stay
We chose the huge 2 bedroom suite (club lounge). It has expansive beautiful balconies. The inside does not appear to be high-end but more like a standard apartment. Some free non-alcoholic drinks are included. The lounge offers beautifully crafted food that is included in the club benefits but the selection was limited. The drink list was also limited with no sparkling wine. The breakfast offered at the main floor ( to all guests) was excellent with many choices. One wrong baggage was delivered. Called for 3 pillows but only 1 was delivered. The English for the room service and the elevator staff was very limited. The housekeeping slipped a card under the door everytime it passed by when we were absent. One day, we received 6 of these which I thought was excessive. The hotel sky bar and the restaurants are stunning but the prices are higher than the comparables in Europe & North America. To access them and the club lounge, men have to wear long pants, no shorts, which is a bit pretentious. When we exited the elevator, there was usually a sea of staff trying to push you to go to their bars or restaurants. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, notably the main breakfast, expansive sized room with balconies with views of the city and the river, beautiful bars & restaurants. Improvements are required in the decor of the rooms, prices of the restaurants, and the food selection in the club lounge.

Staff staff staff beats location location location
This was my 8th stays, each of 6 days, over the past 12 months, so I might not be giving an unbiased assessment, though it is nevertheless honest and accurate. Upon arrival, the check-in was done in 5 minutes, so I have nothing but praise for the politeness, speed, efficiency, courtesy and friendliness of the staff. I also received a room upgrade from city view to river view, and there was a handwritten welcoming card from the manager in the suite, as well as an appetizing fruit plate, so the first few minutes at the hotel were definitely reassuring. I was offered a 2-hour late check-out, which was appreciated but unnecessary, given my early departure flight. The views from the generous and spacious suites are stunning, especially at night. Regardless of how hard one might try, it is difficult to fault the quality of the service at all levels, as well as the amenities. I have nothing but praise and admiration for the staff. It is essential to mention the quality and choice of the splendid breakfast buffet, as well as the Club Lounge on the 52nd floor, where the lunch snacks and afternoon teas and canapes are excellent. If one were to quibble, there are typically long queues for elevators at night for the roof top terrace, but this is not surprising in view of the Hangover II film. This should not detract from the overall experience, especially as hotel guests are given precedence at the elevators. Catching an elevator before 8.00am makes for an early breakfast and no queues.
