Nice hotel just avoid elderly front desk gentleman
The hotel is inexpensive and very close to the many wonderful things the city has to offer. The hotel is clean and more than what you would expect for the price. All of the people working there are wonderful EXCEPT the elderly front desk gentleman. He is not very helpful and looks poorly on Non Colombians. I couldn't even imagine his reaction if you don't speak Spanish. I continue to stay at this hotel to because I have become accustomed to it's charm and I just choose to stay away from him.

Clean and suffecient. Not guest friendly.
Hotel is very budget friendly. The sheets and towels are fresh and clean, shower is clean as well. Free breakfast in the morning ends very early at 9am, but the fresh fruits and eggs are a good start to the day if you can wake up in time. Lot's of cafe's and food shops in the area. Very walkable to everything during the daytime. At night, do not walk, it is a very dangerous area after 9pm. Also, the hotel charges almost 50% of the nightly rate for an extra guest whether you pre pay for an extra guest or not. I tried talking to the manager about this but couldn't barely get a word in because he wouldn't stop talking, very rude.

WORST BUSINESS TRIP EVER
I secured this hotel for a sales manager with our firm. I was horrified when he sent me pictures of the view and the area. The neighborhood is one of the worst and dangerous. If you are in town for business - do not expect to get any sleep. In this case, traffic noise wakes you up 5:30am in the morning, if you arrive 02:00am as I did, and you only sleep 3 hours, and then, the next day, you wake again at the same time, you do the math...
