4.8 out of 5
it is a real private room with bath. not a hostel . that is harder to find in Vancouver than I expected. looks to be a fully updated old building . only minus I noticed was portable ac. guess built in was broken. made for a steamy bathroom during showers. (no venting) but that is no biggie compared to most places in the area .(lots of hostels where you have community bathroom)

Wonderful & small little hotel
Service and staff were good and friendly. A nice cozy hotel but very small and tight for a price we paid. Parking was not free (daily rate) and parking garage was very tight (typical Vancouver). Room was nicely done and well kept. Bathroom was very small and no counter space. Tiny and cute sink! All shower amenities provided (no shower cap though). Standing Aircond/heater was very loud — difficult to sleep. Bed and pillows were awesome! Great lounge area to chill by the fire pit. They provided free bicycles but we didn’t get the chance to explore. Free coffee/tea and water. Generally very thoughtful for their customers’ needs. Definitely on the pricey side. Price for being in a prime location. Elysian Cafe next door is a plus!

Stayed longer and enjoyed the Burrad!
We had planned a 3 night stay but had to stay 5 instead. Karan and Ross helped me stay in our room, much to our relief. The rest of the staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly as well. The location is really good, 1 mile from the waterfront and Pan pacific, near enough to walk. But also near an active part of town the Davie district where there are a lot of shops and restaurants. They have bikes for free at the hotel, I took one around Stanley Park and the waterfront, a lot of fun. It's an older, smaller property than many around it, but very clean, up to date and well done.
