Solo getaway.
It was the Deal of the Day. Great price. Great central location. Easy access to subway system. Great little hotel.

5 trains nearby! Easy to get around Tokyo
So as usual for Japan, staff was great, place was clean. We found this hotel to be in a great spot for commuting. There are 5 train lines that are very close so it's super easy to travel to different areas of Tokyo from here. The neighborhood itself has some fun stuff as well including a great karaoke spot around the corner. As with many places in Tokyo, the rooms are on the smaller side, but you shouldn't be spending much time in the room anyway!

Tranquil retreat in the city center
This business hotel manages to create serenity in the midst of a neighborhood of busy and vibrant nightlife, starting with the secluded garden-like entrance and reflected in its spare, modern styling. The bedroom and bathroom have a few more inches in every direction than the typical business hotel, and the space is well designed to feel spacious. Generous breakfast included in room charge is served at the attached coffee shop and offers six different choices. Right by a subway station where major lines connect.

Review
The bed was really hard. Caused back pain issues. Apart from that it was really nice. Breakfast was average at best.

Nice find in Akasaka
Decent hotel room. Small size, but that's typical for Japan. Clean and comfortable. My room included complimentary breakfast, which was served at the adjacent Excelsior Cafe (direct access from the lobby). It included a choice from 4 breakfast sandwiches and 8 or so drinks. It was very convenient, and I enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful, especially when I accidentally locked myself out of the room. And their housekeeping schedule was very accommodating, so no intrusions or rush to leave my room earlier than desired. The neighborhood was great. Lots of small restaurants, a convenience store right across the street, and the Akasaka-mitsuke metro station just one block over with direct line access to both Shubuya and Shinjuku. I would definitely stay here again!
