We stayed 3 nights here after reading reviews about how good the location was and was such good value for money. All self catering apartments in chalet style. Minutes walk from town the train centre bus stops and attractions. We checked in and out outside of reception hours and was super simple. Very warm and toasty after a day in the cold. Would definitely recommend.

Overall this is a good property and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. It is a little tired inside however and could do with some updating. The appartement we stayed in was next to quite a busy road which made it noisy at times.

Perfect location

Great location and very well equipped apartment, always warm and lots of hot water. Good ski boot room and storage. Small but perfectly formed. However there was someone else’s facecloth in the bathroom when we arrived. Also, after stripping the beds at the end of the stay (as requested) the blue mattress cover under our sheets was quite stained & it wasn’t from us.

Liked the location - central but just out of the hustle and bustle. Staff were very friendly. Liked that the kitchen had an oven option. Disliked the charge for good wfi. Our top floor apartment was ackwardly laid out making it seem cramped, while our friends on a lower floor had a well laid out apartment.

Wonderful location. Great patisserie within a short walking distance. Our unit wasn't as clean as one would hope - dirty floor and dirty dishrag in the sink. Lighting in the unit lousy - lots of dark areas. Barebones amenities in the unit. Super location though!!

I traveled with a 1.9 van and we had to park at another location but it was free so that was great. The receptionist gave us a lot of good suggestions and we were able to do a lot more activities because of the recommendations. The interior design is a bit old and somewhat small in the aspect that the rooms are small fitting. You also have to walk around 10min to get to the centre but train to Mer de glacier is right in front of the building.

Great value option in traditional alpine style

The Ginabelle is in a very good location for the town centre, station and ski bus stops. The staff are welcoming and friendly, very helpful. The property is in a traditional alpine style spread across a few buildings. Reception area is really nice with seating area. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was cosy, warm, it had everything we needed for our ski trip (3 of us) but it's fair to say the decor is a little dated and tired, the furniture and bathroom especially. In theory would sleep 6 but that would be a squeeze with 2 on a sofa bed + 2 separate bedrooms and a small bathroom. Would stay again as overall very good value for money.

Cute and cozy suite in a beautiful setting. Our windows gave on the back side with the traffic of a road. Ok if it is not summer and you need to leave the windows open for cool air at night. One roll of toilet paper even if staying 6 nights. Had to demand for a second which they don’t usually do.

Fabulous but small

We really enjoyed our stay. Good things were fabulous location, friendly reception, great balcony and view and good decor. Less keen on size, my son said he felt like Harry Potter living under the stairs (although he is a 6foot tall 13 year old), next time we would take the full 2 bedroom place. My daughter loved the top bunk ! It is a clever design but a bit like living on a boat. You slip past the person in the kitchen to get to the bedroom. We were there for a long weekend and it was warm enough to use the balcony but if there was 6 of you for a week it it would be very tight. The sofa bed was a quality one with thick mattress.

Wonderful stay

Our family of 2 adults and 4 kids (ages 4 to 13) just got back from a trip here. We are already planning to go back next year! The only downside was having to buy our own toilet paper after the first roll (not a big deal, just wish we would have known before we just got back from the grocery store). The location absolutely could not be beat! It was right by the train station where the Mer de Glacé train leaves from and within walking distance to everything we needed. Ski busses were very close by and convenient as well. The kitchen was very well equipped and even had things such as a toaster. Beds , pillows and comforters were very comfortable and the heat worked very well! We used toe indoor pool (which was a great temperature), and the steam rooms/saunas daily. Staff was very friendly and helpful and pointed us to the rental place right next door where we rented skis and also sleds. I have already recommended this property to friends.

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable à La Ginabelle. L’emplacement de cet établissement est excellent, offrant un accès facile aux attractions locales et un cadre idéal pour découvrir Chamonix. Ayant déjà séjourné ici dans le passé, nous avons remarqué que la propreté, bien que correcte, était légèrement en deçà par rapport à nos visites précédentes. De plus, le canapé pourrait bénéficier d’une amélioration en termes de confort. Malgré cela, l’expérience globale reste positive, et l’appartement continue d’être un choix solide pour un séjour à Chamonix.

강아지와 할아버지, 할머니, 아이와 함께 한 가족여행 최고 였습니다. 케이블카와 기차역이 모두 도보가능. 뒤로 시내도 한번에. 주방에 압력밥솥과 냄비, 식기세척기 세제까지 모두 갖춰져 있습니다. 방도 넓고, 화장실도 2개씩 있었고, 주차장도 지정주차장이라 편했습니다. 수영장 물은 좀 차가웠던 점이 아쉬웠습니다. 사우나도 만족스러웠습니다. 레지던스 나오자마자 뒷편에 빵집에서 조식가능합니다. 4월과 여름의 몽블랑이 궁금해서, 다시 올 예정인데, 때마다 이곳을 찾을 것 같네요. 완전 추천합니다
