While close to Yosemite, and lake Mono, we had some trouble.
The office was under construction, so we never met any staff, but they had our keys outside ready for us when we arrived. The room was clean, with the promised features, and the bathroom looks updated--although it seemed hard to keep the water in the shower and not on their new wood(?) flooring. Speaking of water, let's talk about the A/C. I'm not sure if they are temporary or permanent, but each room currently has an in-room free standing a/c--the a/c did a great job at keeping us cool--it also peed all over the carpet--I'm not sure if this was a malfunction, a set-up issue (did it need to sit in a drain pan?), or what, but we woke to the carpet (future or current mold issue!?) and items we set on the floor being quite damp. Additionally, the unit vents to the outside via the window--which is then left open with a plastic exhaust spacer thingy in the window--while the a/c made a decent amount of noise to help drown out outside noise, the window basically sounded open due to the flimsy plastic instead of a closed window so our early rising neighbors and all semi-trucks on the highway were quite loud and woke us up several times. Wouldn't stay again in current set-up.
