Seattle's Hidden Gem!
Loved this place, got a pet-free room with high ceiling! The brunch was outstanding! And the grounds were beautiful. Staff super friendly and helpful. Will come back.

Not Your Usual Hotel
Everything was great but hard to find the check in building. Very confusing. Shared two bed room with a professional colleague. I was shocked at how small the bathroom was for the size of the unit. Not even a bathroom countertop and the little shelf over the commode was falling off the wall. Otherwise, the setting was amazing and the breakfast was like a restaurant. I will definitely look for Talaris Conference Center for my next business trip to Seattle.

The grounds are beautiful - natural setting close to University of Washington campus; Canadian geese, bald eagles, rabbits & squirrels living on the 18 acre property. Restaurants nearby (try the Thai restaurant around the corner). Staff was friendly & welcoming. Rooms are basic - clean, beds comfortable, furnishings are tired. Coffee was great. This would be a nice place for a budget-wise retreat.

Needs renovation. Water temperature in the shower constantly goes from one extreme to the other; same thing with the room thermostat it goes down in the middle of the night and the room is ice cold when you wake up. The gardens, however, are spectacular. Complementary breakfast is very good; bed was comfortable.
