Beach solitude.
Oyster Bay Lodge was a great stop on our Garden Route adventure. The road going in from Port Elizabeth was a bit sketchy, but it added to the allure of the hidden gem of Oyster Bay. Wonderful food and dining atmosphere, great walks in the woods, and a private, beautiful white beach. Great pool also. Two nights was not enough!

Disappointing
We were looking forward to sitting in our luxury chalet & watching the waves & walking out onto the beach. The chalet is not "luxury" & the beach is a good 20 minute walk. The "beach View" from the chalet is in the far distance when standing on the patio. The 3 course meal was disappointing with no choices & the property is too far on gravel roads from the towns to go out for a meal at night. The flies were a problem & were everywhere - even attacking your food while eating. All in all disappointing & too expensive for what you get.

Wunderschöne Lodge in traumhafter Lage.
