Good hotel. Clean and new. Area can get very noisy during the weekend.

Nice boutique hotel on a very busy street.
I had reserved a room with a double bed, but the night I arrived, only a room with twin beds was available. I was moved to a room with a double bed for the remaining 3 nights. I also wasn't aware that the hotel is in the middle of a two-block stretch of very loud gay bars blasting music. It is closed to traffic at night, so there are also a lot of pedestrians in the street. The rooms are about 90% soundproof. The hotel itself is very nice (although the carpet in my room was badly in need of replacement) and the staff is very friendly. I was a bit disappointed to learn that the coffee set-up and water bottles are only provided in the room the first night. Coffee is available in the lobby free of charge, but that coffee, like the coffee available with the buffet breakfast, is basically weak Americano coffee. (Go instead to the artisanal cafe Tierra Garat on the corner. It has dozens of coffee and Mexican hot chocolate options, as well as sandwiches, salads and pastries). The buffet breakfast is otherwise great, and reasonably-priced at 150 pesos.

Loved our experience
Located near Angel of independance, reforma street and historic center. Amazing customer service: they helped us book a tour to pick us up at the hotel and drop us off to basilica, Teotihuacán pyramids. Front desk recommended us great restarurants at walking distance and on reforma street: 3 mariachis, casa de Los abuelos, califas, cantina no 20,etc. Metro station @ insurgentes is 2 blocks away. Capital bus hop on hop off picks you up a few blocks away by the angel: takes you to Polanco, zócalo, palacio bellas artes, Madero street, Latin America tower, chapultepeque park, many museums and aquarium, etc. Breakfast is until noon: seasonal fruit, yogurt, granola, hams, cheeses, pastries, breads, pancakes teas, coffee all day. And hot breakfast varies daily. Downside at night it’s full of bars and discos- you can hear the loud music in our room all Night, but it didn’t bother us. And there are many gay/lesbian bars at night. During the day it’s full of offices and business men. A lot of European staying at the hotel. Would highly recommend it. Spacious, clean , great customer service!! Will stay here again.
