The Harrison, London
Cozy, mostly quiet b&b with great service and food
The accommodations were very clean, basic and comfortable. I was worried about the potential for noise (given that the pub hosts music) but it was always quiet enough to fall asleep and the hotel was kind enough to put out earplugs in the common areas on weekend nights (though I never had to use them). I can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, especially Sheila. They were the best I've encountered by far in London. The pub itself offers really, really good food and beers. It's surprisingly packed every day, so you may have to eat in your room if you order food!

Comfortable room, great breakfast and location.
Short walk from Kings Cross Station, comfortable beds with nice linens. Some noise from the pub, but it subsided at a reasonable hour. If necessary, there was a bowl full of earplugs in the hallway. Breakfast was wonderful, I had fruit and yogurt and my husband had the full English breakfast. The blueberries were as big as grapes.

Lovely Pub Hotel
Well located Pub on a quiet street and a bit removed from the tourist-centric hotels near Kings Cross. Friendly staff and solid English breakfast. A good pub as well, with high quality cask ales. Shower is quite small (like in most British lodgings) and the room was plain but well kept. Several solid ethnic food and pub options within short walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

A great stay
A great find. Wanted to be near Kings Cross Station. This was on a quiet street no more than 15 minute easy walk. Lots to see and do in between also. Friendly staff at the Harrison. Felt we were with friends. Everyone was very professional as well. Pub downstairs was popular with locals ( and me). They offer pub food, but on our schedule we just had the breakfast which was awesome. Note... is above a pub, not an international hotel. Though it was quiet for us perhaps it could be a little loud at some times. If it is, remember it is locals enjoying each other and the experience so why not be happy in that. Only 4 rooms but that is what we wanted. Bottom line, glad we did it, worked for us, loved it and will do it again if we can.

Sunday night Klezmer is fabulous
Small but functional room. Bathroom shower very small--glad I'm not big! Staff extremely helpful and breakfast excellent. Two flights of stairs problematic
