Exceptional 10.0
Perfect Location
Perfect little guesthouse right in the middle of everything. It was very clean and the kitchen areas were very nice. The outside door is a little tricky to figure out after hours so make sure you test it before going outside. There is parking outside on the street but be careful, someone hit my rental vehicle overnight and drove off.

Very close to everything
Excellent location for walking around Reykjavik, convenient to have a kitchen, wi-fi was very strong.

Great location, problem with front door
Great location - within easy walking distance of tour bus stops, restaurants, supermarkets / convenience stores, and the famous church. Amenities: coffee machine with free coffee, easy access to WiFi, kitchen for preparing food or storing food A towel is provided, but this is not a hotel, so remember to bring soap and shampoo. (Or you can buy them at the convenience store down the street). The front door did not work for any of the 4 days that I was there. The door code did not work, and many of the front door keys given to guests were out of date. Mine did not work. Even the live-in staff could not get in. This is an issue that needs to be fixed promptly. It is not acceptable for guests to wonder if they will get back in when they return late from a tour. (Hence the low mark for condition).

Pretty loud and bad for those with lousy bladders
We booked this accommodation at the last minute. It gave us what we needed most: a place in a decent location where we could sleep for the night. Beyond that, there wasn't much to recommend it. The bathroom is shared by too many people, particularly in the mornings, and the bedrooms are too close to the common rooms and too poorly insulated to allow for much restful sleep. Even the bedroom doors opening and shutting created loud banging noises in the room. It's fine in a pinch, but we opted to only stay one night because it was definitely not our thing.

Great location, small rooms, sulfur water :(
Loved staying in Reykjavík, location is great, pretty much on the street leading up to Hallgrímskirkja, however the room was very small and the tap water (even in the lobby upstairs and the showers) smelled incredibly of sulfur. Other places in Reykjavík that I went to didn’t have this same problem with water just Thor, not sure why.
