Mixed bag- but take a chance. Great folks
Good location, on a busy street with construction going on across the street in sept 2018 and most likely another year. Get a room in the back to cut down on the noise. Nice people. Great breakfast. Short twin beds if you get stuck in that room...

It was hard to know where to go. You went to a locked door and rang the bell but no one answered so I went into the bar and talked to the bar tender and he checked me in in-between customers. Just not customer service oriented. No lift and a LOT of stairs. Large clean room. Average beds. We had to figure out the wifi and other things on our own because there was no attendant. Breakfast was decent but the guy who cooked it was rude. It was not a cheap room so it was disappointing to not have decent service. Good location.

Good simple traditional setting with kind staff.
We stayed here for our last day in Ireland. It was a simple clean place with really nice staff. The manager was very helpful and helped up bring our luggage up to the rooms (Sorry, no elevator). It was simple accommodations in the busy center of Dublin.

Not my first choice.
OK room but my bad for staying over a pub. There were not many alternatives to choose from at the time. No elevator - walk up with heavy suitcases.

Stay above a pub...why not?
Interesting space located above a pub. Only gripe would be twin beds, not sure if there are rooms with larger beds available. Very friendly staff greeted us and helped us bring our luggage upstairs. Unfortunately a little later in the day another staff member wasn't the most pleasant fellow to deal with. Surprisingly quiet considering the area. The pub is a great place to have a drink whether you are on the way out or coming back in for the night. A different accommodation that is worth a try for a night or two if you want to be in the middle of the thick of things in Dublin.
