About JW Marriott Chicago, Chicago

4-star elegance in the historic Loop district

It's happening downtown

Situated in The Loop district, JW Marriott Chicago soars among some of the most famous skyscrapers on the city's skyline. At the heart of Chicago's financial district, it's a 20-minute bus ride to the amusements of Navy Pier or the shops of the Magnificent Mile.

Outdoor play, sunset view

Millennium and Grant Parks, both within a 20-minute walk, make up a vast green oasis, home to icons like "the Bean" sculpture and The Art Institute of Chicago. After a day outdoors, you can have drinks at Franklin Tap and watch the sunset from Skydeck Chicago, a 5-minute walk.

Chandeliers, indoor pool

Ornate staircases and chandeliers lend Old World glamor, while The Florentine and The Lobby Lounge are laid-back spots for a meal or happy hour. In addition to a fully equipped fitness center, the hotel offers a beautiful indoor pool, 40 meeting rooms and WiFi access (surcharge) in public areas. Valet parking is available on site; buses, RVs, trailers, and motorcycles are not accepted.

Elegance and tech touches

Decorated with refined furnishings and deep red accents, the 581 spacious guestrooms have a regal feel, with iPod® docks, Smart TVs with cable channels, and WiFi adding the tech touches. Pillowtop mattresses and deep soaking tubs make it easy to relax.

My new Chicago Favorite!
I have stayed at at least 10 different downtown and near north Chicago Hotels. The JW Marriott on Adams is the best one. The lobby area is huge and comfortable. EVERY staff member made me feel like a guest. Finish and fixtures throughout are very high quality. Terrific pool, hot tub and gym facility. Fast room service with high quality and diverse menu. The room was big and the bathroom was awesome - the only potential problem is that the room with 2 double beds is for 2 people as the double beds are fine for 1 person, but would be a real struggle for 2. Can't wait for my next stay!

Exceptional10.0
The hotel was fantastic! Great service, great food, room, fitness center location ect. Only negative was the quality and comfort of the pullout couch. We let guest services know and they tried to fix it but it really needs to be replaced. The bed tilts back so your head is below your feet. someone must have tried to collapse it back into the couch incorrectly. Plus there was no mattress pad and the coils were very pronounced.

Great service, perfect location
My husband and I stayed here for one night as we were seeing a show a few blocks away. The service was excellent, room was a great size for that area, and location was very convenient.

Nice getaway
Wonderful room, huge bathroom. Comfortable bed- perfectly quiet hotel stay. Great pool and hot tub. Valet took way too long for the daily fee requested.

As good as it gets in the Loop
Rock solid stay, the rooms are nice, gym 24 hour, good bar and very very well maintained and constructed property. Not as luxe as some of the others, but in the Loop, as good as it gets. If you want to walk to the office, hard to do better
