Great location but outdated and dark bathroom
The location of the hotel was excellent. Very close to the central area and walking distance to jazz clubs and major attractions. The toiletries provided were great (i.e., disposable sponge was a nice touch) and the freebies (such as green tea at the reception desk) was a nice surprise. The room was relatively spacious. However the condition of the hotel room was less than desirable. The rooms were a little outdated, especially the bathroom. The bathroom was aged and very dark, and the bathtub/shower did not feel squeakly clean (unlike other Japanese hotels). The beds were average, not particularly comfortable.
