Beautiful Hospitality
Montepulciano is beautiful and the hospitality at Palazzo Carletti is excellent. My boyfriend proposed to me here so we will never forget our stay.

A perfectly lovely place to stay.
We stayed at the Palazzo Carletti near the end of a driving trip through Tuscany. The scenery was lovely and we enjoyed the area a great deal, but we got bad colds during the trip and weren't feeling tip top while we were there. However Melania, the manager, made us feel so comfortable, and the environment was so beautiful, peaceful, and inviting that we just took it easy and had a delightful and restful time. Before we arrived Melania also helped us to find tours and while we were there she pointed out good restaurants and made us a lovely breakfast each day. We really can't say enough good things about her! The Palazzo has beautiful fresco's on the ceilings and our room was large, nicely decorated and clean and it had a big walk in closet, a great hair dryer, TV, safe, shower, coffee maker and tea kettle, complementary mini bar, etc. The large lounge/living room of the hotel was a great place to curl up with a book. All in all, a perfectly lovely place to stay.

Outsdanding hotel
Mansion from the 1700s, converted into a a high quality B&B and run by amazingly nice and friendly Luisa. Must stay there if you go to Montepulciano and see all the different rooms and bathrooms beautifully renovated with high class interior design taste.

a gem, like staying with family ....
Melania , the manager of the hotel , is an absolute star. On the day of my arrival (1 night) she sent me a Whats Ap message seeing if there was anything she could do to help with my arrival. Funny enough I would up missing a train connection and she was there to help me find another connection that got me in later in the day. She also was able to suggest which was the better station to go to to get the bus to Montepulciano. And don't forget - this was all done remotely before I check into the hotel! The hotel itself is great, one single grand room with 5 separate bedrooms off of it. 20 foot ceilings and classically styled painted walls add to the ambience. Views off the sitting / breakfast / cocktail room out to the rolling hills of Tuscany are superb and a perfect place to have an after dinner drink post your day touring the vineyards or the town. Will definitely book again next time I am back in that part of the world. Thanks again Melania and keep up the fabulous work! Ciao
