The front desk staff were very friendly. We were surprised that the hotel charges an extra service fee and the front desk staff weren’t sure what the service fee paid for. This was an additional amount due at time of check-in even though my reservation was paid in full. There is a free continental breakfast but it could have benefited from a few healthier choices such as fresh fruit and less sugary yogurt. I realize this is Sitka and there might not be a lot of options.

I’ve been coming to Sitka for a long time and this was my 1st time staying here. The staff was friendly, my room was comfortable and price was great. My room had a nice little fridge and good sized bathroom

Lovely staff, rooms could do with a refresh
Great location and friendly staff! The bed however was uncomfortable / not nice pillows or mattress. My mattress was sunken down on the bottom left too. A few hairs in the shower that type of thing. The staff however were lovely and friendly and helpful.

Service was almost non-existent. Staff never at desk. Which is an issue given the number of problems. Rooms are motel quality at best. TV didn’t work and I was eventually told “I don’t know how to fix it”. Incredibly overpriced. Avoid.
